To create your custom email signature in Apple Mail
- Open the Mail app on your Mac
- Open Mail Preferences (⌘,) and then click on Signatures
- Click the + icon (below the center box) to add a new signature
- Uncheck the box in front of “Always match my default message font”
- Delete any default text that was automatically placed in the rightmost box
- Place the Preferences window next to this webpage so that you can see both together
- Using the mouse, carefully select and hold the entire signature below including the images (everything should be highlighted)
- Drag the entire signature to the rightmost box in the Preferences window (The text may not appear to be lined up correctly but that’s ok)
- Single click on the signature name (probably “Signature #1) and then rename it as you like
- Finally drag the newly named signature over the email account in the leftmost box of the Preferences window
