To create your custom email signature in Apple Mail

  1. Open the Mail app on your Mac

  2. Open Mail Preferences (⌘,) and then click on Signatures

  3. Click the + icon (below the center box) to add a new signature

  4. Uncheck the box in front of “Always match my default message font”

  5. Delete any default text that was automatically placed in the rightmost box

  6. Place the Preferences window next to this webpage so that you can see both together

  7. Using the mouse, carefully select and hold the entire signature below including the images (everything should be highlighted)

  8. Drag the entire signature to the rightmost box in the Preferences window (The text may not appear to be lined up correctly but that’s ok)

  9. Single click on the signature name (probably “Signature #1) and then rename it as you like

  10. Finally drag the newly named signature over the email account in the leftmost box of the Preferences window
